This research park is widely considered to be one of the leading centers for innovation in the life sciences. Both the administrative offices and our primary laboratory operate in this location.

Our lab technicians work in an ISO Class 5 certified clean room dedicated to corneal preparation activities. The clean room controls airborne particles through an exchange of filtered air using a high efficiency particulate arrestant (HEPA) filtering system, and through minimization of activities that generate particles.

The company also operates a corneal tissue processing facility located in Aurora, Colorado. The combined office and laboratory space is outfitted with an ISO Class 5 certified clean room and specialized tissue storage and preparation equipment. This facility is strategically located near the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank, one of OSI’s supply partners. The convenient location eliminates logistical problems that occasionally occur during the acquisition and distribution of tissue to customers west of the Mississippi River.

All of OSI’s facilities, processes and procedures follow standards published by the Eye Bank Association of America and U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations pertaining to human tissue.
