For many the decision to donate is a difficult one. Family members are experiencing a painful loss and often want to do good in their time of grief. Knowing that a loved one's eye donation can make a difference brings them comfort when little else can. We gratefully respect the selfless gifts of all donors and their families that make our work possible.

We also honor and recognize the eye banks and medical professionals that work with donor families to secure these gifts. Through their guiding touch, these hope-filled gifts make their way into the hands of trained medical professionals where they are put to best use to restore someone’s vision and help them regain the fullness of living.

We work hard to honor the memory of every donor by meeting strict licensing and certification standards, which are available for review upon request. Further, OSI adheres stringently to the highest medical standards and ethics at all times with regard to donor gifts and donor families.

Making the decision to donate is a positive, life-giving and life-affirming act. Thank you to all donors and donor families for spreading hope and the belief in good things yet to come.
